Gaming with our kids

'Gaming with our kids'
Hi5!
Get ready for 2 weeks of holiday fun during upcoming winter school break!
No, not big game hunting!  But, some families consider this a fun activity, including during the cooler seasons.
Many of our families will be home-bound due to inclement weather, amongst health reasons.

To keep the days enjoyable, consider gaming systems that engage the  entire family in friendly competitions. Many increase hand-eye cooordination, increases reflex response, improves quick thinking, and just simply FUN!  We like to venture out the different arcades!

Also, many of us will venture out, travel to and patronize local businesses that cater to our kids.
Arthur Christmas movie preview and more!
We enjoy bounce-stations, Chuck E Cheese, Chick Fil-A play centers, state parks and neighborhood and accessible playgrounds, nature trails (when the weather permits).

And there is always the holiday movies which are liting up the silverscreens in 3D!  So far, our son's school went to IMAX to see the Polar Express--- in 3D!  We enjoyed

We truly enjoy riding around viewing the holiday lights displays while munching on beignets and sipping hot cocoa!

But, a word of caution, some things that seem fun may be inherently bad for your child's health.
Here's a case in point and what a Parent decided to do about keeping fun fun.

Children’s indoor play structures -- such as those areas containing tubes, tunnels, slides, climbing ropes and webs, as well as inflatables and trampolines -- have become modern day conveniences.
Whatever activities your family chooses for this holiday season, have FUN!
ENJOY!
